Little Lola is the smallest star in the Starland kingdom. One day, during a magical celestial storm, she gets swept away and lands on Earth. With her bright light now dimmed, Lola cannot return to her home in the sky.
As Lola finds herself in a tiny town full of beautiful hills and sunny beaches, she befriends a timid boy named Timmy who lives in an orphanage. Timmy is known for his love of stargazing, and instantly, he feels a unique connection with Lola even though he doesn’t know she’s an actual star.
Together, they embark on a series of adventures as Lola searches for a way back to Starland, while Timmy helps her realize her own brightness. They learn important lessons, including the significance of friendship, bravery, and self-belief. Meanwhile, the people in the town begin to notice that whenever Lola and Timmy are together, a mysterious and enchanting glow illuminates the night, spreading happiness and warmth.
In the climax, a once-in-a-lifetime meteor shower occurs, granting Lola the chance to return to Starland. However, she is hesitant to leave Timmy. Seeing this, Timmy shows his courage and encourages Lola to return to her home.
In the end, Lola makes it back to Starland, but not before transforming Timmy’s life forever. As a parting gift, she leaves Timmy with a small piece of her light. Timmy is never alone again, and his nights are forever bright with Lola watching over him from Starland.
